About

Once a month the Musikinstrumenten-Museum at the Kulturforum lets children touch the instruments. Under the guidance of the museum's guides, five- to ten-year-olds can try a violin, a keyboard, a guitar and others, and hear how each one is built, how it sounds and where it comes from, until they find the one that fits them. The session runs in two groups, one starting at 15:00 and one at 16:00, and each takes about an hour. Children and young people up to 18 pay €3; adults pay the museum admission of €10, reduced €5. Places are limited, so book by phone on 030 254 81 178 or by email to kasse@mimpk.de. The next sessions are on Friday 13 November and Friday 11 December 2026.
