About
A one-hour singing and playing workshop that prepares families for the Komische Oper's children's opera Pippi Longstocking. Children and their adults play and sing together, try out scenes and songs from the production, and then go into the performance already knowing the music - the opera itself can be booked separately. It is for families with children aged 6 to 12, the group is small and places are limited. Children pay €10, adults €20. The workshop is held in German and meets at the main entrance of the Schillertheater on Bismarckstraße in Charlottenburg, where the Komische Oper is playing during the renovation of its own house. Tickets are sold at the opera box offices and through the Komische Oper call centre rather than online.
