About
Weekly French courses for children aged 3 to 10 at the Institut français Berlin on Kurfürstendamm, run in two parallel tracks: one for German-speaking children meeting French as a new language, and one for children who already grow up bilingual in French. Groups are split by age - 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years - and every group is built on games, songs and creative activities, so the language arrives through play; the older children are also gently introduced to reading and writing in French, and the bilingual groups follow material close to French pre-school and primary curricula. The bilingual groups meet on Saturdays, the German-speaking groups on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Fees per trimester: €85.50 for the 3-4 year olds, €114 for the older German-speaking groups and €95-€127 for the bilingual groups.
