About

A 70-minute Christmas play for families after Astrid Lindgren, played by the Berliner Kindertheater in its 20th winter family theatre season at the Fontane-Haus in the Märkische Viertel. Pippi celebrates Christmas her own way - giant gingerbread men, a family of mice to feed, and a stern Mrs Finkvist who is sure children must not celebrate alone. No interval, recommended for roughly ages 4 to 8, performed in German. Family performances start at 16:00 on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December 2026; weekday mornings are school and Kita performances only. Tickets by seat category, adults/children: €16/€14 in A, €14/€12 in B and €12/€10 in C; an accompanying carer of a child with a disabled pass (B) is admitted free.
