About
Once a month the family centre's garden house becomes a story room: families settle around the fireplace with tea and biscuits while fairy tales from different cultures are told in two languages, German and English. It is made for families with children up to six years old, so it works as a very first theatre-like experience - no stage, no tickets, no need to sit still for long, and you can come and go. The next sessions are on Monday 26 October 2026 and Monday 23 November 2026, both 16:00 to 17:30, told by storyteller Johanna Wollin of Erzählkunst e.V.; the series also runs on 14 December 2026. It is free, donations are welcome, and no registration is needed. Because every tale is told in both languages, children growing up with German and English hear the story twice and can follow whichever language they are stronger in. Schulstraße 101 in Wedding, a family centre with a garden and open groups for the neighbourhood.
