About
The Berlin St Nicholas Run is held on St Nicholas weekend on the circular route around the Schlachtensee lake in Zehlendorf, and it has its own races for children before the adult events: the Bambini race over 330 m starts at 09:15 (children born 2019-2021), the children's race over 660 m at 09:30 (born 2017-2018) and the school pupils' race over 1.3 km at 09:45 (born 2015-2016). The children's prize-giving is at 10:30 at the turning circle at the end of Fischerhüttenstraße; every finisher gets a medal and the first three girls and boys in each children's race get a certificate and a chocolate St Nicholas. Race numbers are collected from 08:00 at Fischerhüttenstraße. Entry is cheaper online in advance than as a late entry on the day: the Bambini race is €6 until 22 November 2026 (€8.50 later), the children's race €7 (€9.50 later) and the pupils' race €8 (€10.50 later). Announcements are in German.
