Lantern Walk through Tierpark Berlin

An evening lantern walk through Tierpark Berlin in the weeks around St Martin's Day: with your own lantern and a torch you follow a guide past the animal enclosures and hear how the old lantern tradition came about and which customs, myths and legends exist in the animal world. The walk lasts about 75 minutes and starts at the Bärenschaufenster entrance. It runs at 15:45 to 17:00 on 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 November 2026, whatever the weather, and is held in German only. Tickets cost €13 per person from the age of 4 and include admission for the evening (not daytime entry); children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and everyone - including annual-pass holders - needs a ticket. Please bring your own lantern (no torches, candles or open fire); warm drinks are available on site.
