About

Over 150 experiment stations that you are meant to touch: coloured shadows thrown on the wall, a plasma column, heat cameras, pendulums, mirrors and illusions, sound and electricity. It is the hands-on wing of the Deutsches Technikmuseum, built so that children work things out by trying them, and it works for a curious four-year-old as well as for a ten-year-old. One ticket covers the Spectrum and the main museum on the day you book. Entry is free for everyone under 18, though a zero-euro ticket still has to be booked, and adults pay 15 euros online or 17 at the door, 9 euros reduced. Closed on Mondays.
