Parent-and-Child Dance

About

A parent-and-child dance and music group for children from the age of two, run by the TanzZwiEt dance school at its Friedrichshain studio, Landsberger Allee 62b. Children dance together with a parent, grandparent or another accompanying adult and are accompanied live on piano and percussion; the class uses musical play ideas such as circle dances and body-awareness games, and it is a way for toddlers and their grown-ups to meet other families. It takes place every Saturday from 09:00 to 09:30, with a second Saturday group at 09:30-10:00 still being planned. A trial lesson is €10 for children and is credited if the child joins in the same month; the monthly contribution is €44 for one weekly class. The school's teaching team includes former dancers of the Staatsoper Berlin and the Komische Oper. The provider's website and booking are in German.
