About
Every October the KinderKulturMonat opens Berlin's museums, art and music schools, theatres, dance schools and cinemas to children aged 4 to 12 and their families, with free workshops, guided tours, performances and hands-on art activities in every district of the city - painting, researching, dancing, making music and much more. The 2026 edition runs from 1 to 31 October, with more than 290 events at over 100 cultural venues in Berlin and Brandenburg, most of them at the weekend. Participation is free; each event needs to be booked through the programme page. The KinderKulturMonat is a project of the WerkStadt Kulturverein Berlin e.V. in Neukölln.
