Family Pumpkin Festival

A Halloween afternoon in a Kreuzberg neighbourhood garden, run by the inclusive parents' association EbE and open to children and adults with and without disabilities. Families carve pumpkins together at the long tables, pumpkin soup is cooked over the campfire, and anyone feeling brave can have their face painted ready for the evening's trick-or-treating. Each family brings its own pumpkin, plus a spoon for scooping and a knife for carving if you have them. The garden is the Kolonie am Flughafen at the corner of Golßener Straße, next to the sports field in Kreuzberg, and the afternoon runs from 13:00 to 15:00. It is free, but the organisers ask you to register beforehand by email to haefele@eltern-beraten-eltern.de or by phone on 030 82 16 711, so they know how much soup to make. The event is held in German, and the association also offers counselling in English.
