About
KUKI is Berlin's short-film festival for young audiences, running 8–15 November 2026 in several Berlin cinemas, including the Filmtheater am Friedrichshain and the Zeiss-Großplanetarium. Instead of one long feature, it bundles short stories from all over the world into age-banded programmes for children from 4, 6, 8 and 10 years up, plus documentary and environmental film strands. The children's programmes run in the original language with German voice-over. Screenings take place across the festival week at different times, and tickets are sold per screening in the festival programme. Age band and programme are chosen at booking, so families can pick the right level for their child.
