Halloween village

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal turns into a Halloween village for five nights this autumn, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 October, 17:00 to 22:00. The park is lit up and decorated with spooky figures, the rides run in the dark, fire artists perform, guests are welcome made up and in costume, and the evening closes with a drone show of more than 500 choreographed lights in the sky. It is built as a family evening rather than a hard scare, so whether it suits your child depends on how they cope with darkness, loud effects and costumed figures. Expect 20–45 minutes of queueing at the rides. A separate Grusel-Nacht ticket is required: €24.50, or €19.50 for annual-pass holders; children need a ticket from age 2 and 90 cm.
