When the lights go out at Aquarium Berlin the adventure begins: with only your own torch you walk every floor of the darkened aquarium with a guide, following the beam past underwater worlds, reptiles, amphibians and insects and finding out who is still wide awake at that hour. The tour is for families and children from age 4 (separate tours run for ages 16+). It lasts 90 minutes, costs €26 per person and includes evening admission for the chosen date; tickets are sold online in advance only and are strictly limited, and annual-pass holders still need a regular ticket. Children under 12 must come with an adult, entry closes when the tour starts, and everyone needs their own torch (no head torches). The tour is given in German only.
