Hallo wir! is the Labyrinth Kindermuseum's multilingual participation project for children aged 3 to 11, and everything in it is covered by the normal museum ticket. Inside the TALENTOPIA exhibition a reading corner has been stocked with children's books in many European languages, and on selected weekends multilingual readers open the door to those languages and their storytelling traditions. Reading afternoons: 15:00 for ages 6-11 and 16:00 for ages 3-6, 14 November Portuguese, 15 November Italian, 5 December Turkish, 6 December French. "How do you explain it?" language days: bilingual guided games and hands-on activities with the museum's multilingual staff and the language school Cours et Jardins, registration on the day at the museum, 12 to 15 children per session, 6 November 15:00 and 16:00 Arabic (ages 6+, max 12), 22 November 12:30 and 15:00 Portuguese (ages 4+), 27 November 15:00 and 16:00 Italian (ages 6+, max 12), 11 December 15:00 and 16:00 Spanish (ages 6+, max 12), 12 December 12:30 and 15:00 Portuguese (ages 4+). Also part of the project: an interactive audio station in the exhibition's language area, where children can listen to European languages and repeat words, and a bilingual podcast made by children of the Herman-Nohl-Schule. Entry is EUR 7 per person from age 2, family ticket EUR 23 for up to four people. Tickets are sold at the museum box office only, there are no online tickets. The museum is open Friday 13:00-18:00 and Saturday/Sunday 11:00-18:00, last entry 17:00; during the Berlin autumn holidays Monday to Friday 10:00-18:00.
