About
Children's gymnastics with the SSV Köpenick-Oberspree sports club, training every Friday in the gym of the Kreativitätsgrundschule Treptow-Köpenick at Hartriegelstraße 77 in Niederschöneweide. Two flexible age groups train one after the other: group 1, usually school years 1 to 3, and group 2, usually school year 4 and above. The children work on apparatus including floor, parallel bars, balance beam, high bar and vault, are supported individually, and present what they have learned at club highlights such as the summer festival and the Christmas gymnastics display. There is no training during the Berlin school holidays. New children register in person straight after a Friday session, with a parent present, and train free of charge for four weeks before the family decides about club membership. The club is based in Treptow-Köpenick. The club's pages are in German.
