Auch das noch! - Children's Concerts of Improvised Music

About

Two concerts where nobody knows what comes next: the saxophonist Ulrike Schwarz brings improvisers, a poet and a clown onto one stage, and children are invited to listen, wonder and join in. The idea behind the project is that children with ADHD often blossom in improvised music, where attention is allowed to roam and surprises are the whole point, so these concerts are made for children with and without ADHD alike. Children aged 6 to 10 who would like to play on stage themselves can sign up for a free four-hour improvisation workshop with the musicians on 14 November; registration closes on 31 October, and taking part is not a condition for coming to the concert. Entry is 6 euros per person, children and adults each counted, paid in cash at the door, and children who took part in the workshop get in free. The concerts are at the exploratorium berlin in Kreuzberg at 11:00 and 14:00 on Sunday 22 November, and the programme is announced in German and English.
