About
Spanish storytelling for children in the library of the Instituto Cervantes Berlin on Rosenstraße in Mitte, part of its monthly "Historias contadas" programme. A storytelling specialist reads a picture book from the library's Spanish and Latin American children's collection and brings it alive with games, dramatisation and projected images, for children who speak Spanish at home as well as for those learning it as a second language. The stories are chosen to awaken curiosity and the pleasure of reading in Spanish from an early age. The December session, "¡Cuéntame un cuento!", is told by Montse Rabadán on Friday 4 December 2026 at 16:00. Entry is free, and registration is required for sessions held on site. The library holds one of Berlin's best collections of Spanish-language children's books, for babies through to age eleven.
