About
Children who find reading hard read aloud to Chess, a trained reading-support dog, for about fifteen minutes each while their parents wait in the library. The dog never corrects or laughs, which takes the fear out of reading aloud, and the child can stroke him and give him a treat while reading. One child per slot: 11:00, 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30. Registration is required by email or phone at the Helene-Nathan-Bibliothek; free of charge.
