About
Prokofiev's musical fairy tale Peter and the Wolf told as a shadow-puppet play, with the orchestral music playing alongside the figures: Peter leaves the garden gate open, the little bird warns him, the cat creeps up and the wolf comes out of the forest. The Berlin shadow-theatre company Scuraluna performs it with cut-out figures behind a lit screen, so even children who do not follow every word can see the story move. It lasts about an hour, is recommended from age 4 and is free, with no ticket and no registration - you simply turn up. The performance is in the Ingeborg-Drewitz-Bibliothek on the third floor of the 'das Schloss' shopping centre in Steglitz, a few minutes from S+U Rathaus Steglitz. For questions the library answers on 030 90299 2410. The performance is in German.
